While preparing for "The Dark Knight", I fell in love with Tim Sale's work on "Batman: The Long Halloween". Every character looks so different; exaggerated, but still based in realism.
I've also been looking at shadow shapes too, and since I've been teaching painting, I've started to incorporate them more into my sketches. Thank God for brush pens!
